After its Berlin debut, the exhibition travels to Vienna, expanding to include two additional artists, Julia Wolf and Alina Sokolova. The exhibition flesh so fesch offers a dynamic exploration of the intersection between physicality and aesthetics. The title reflects the contrast between the rawness of the body (“flesh”) and the sleekness of contemporary art (“fesch”). Drawing from Vienna‘s body-centered art traditions since the 1960s, the exhibition brings a fresh perspective to contemporary art through a diverse range of mediums, including painting, installation, and photography.
