Extra Scharf

Shortly after the Wiener Würstelstand was designated as an intangible UNESCO cultural heritage, the Roberta Keil Gallery invites you to the presentation of the Limited Edition Extra Scharf by the Berlin-based artist collective Albrecht/Wilke at the Würstelstand Extra Würstel in the second district of Vienna on December 5th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The artist collective Albrecht/Wilke (Tim Albrecht, *1992, and Hannes Wilke, *1991) draws inspiration from everyday life, pop culture, and art history, and works between figurative and abstract painting. A central theme in their work is a humorous engagement with the German bourgeoisie. With sharp commentary, they question cultural clichés and current political issues. With the Extra Scharf edition, Albrecht/Wilke once again play with ambiguity and wordplay.

The Extra Scharf edition is limited to 25 pieces and is available in four different colors. Each background is individually painted.
