Contemporary Art in Dialogue
Curated by Roberta Keil
Vienna and Berlin—two vibrant cultural hubs for contemporary art. What themes shape the work of artists in these cities? How do urban spaces influence their artistic practices? And what symbolic codes emerge when these cities encounter one another?
The exhibition BERWIENALE | Contemporary Art in Dialogue presents diverse perspectives and expressions of a generation of artists based in Vienna and Berlin. Through various media and materials, their works become instruments of exchange, addressing urgent socio-political issues such as identity, belonging, the environment, and societal transformation.
At the core of the exhibition is the concept of dialogue—an exchange that extends beyond the artworks themselves. Viewers are invited to question their own perspectives, engage with the pieces, and follow the Edlvis Path by Pegasus Product.
Exhibited Artists:
Lucia Kempkes, Madita Kloss, Pegasus Product, Noushin Redjaian, Samira Saidi, Dominik Scharfer
